# Small game project brief

Original template: CC0 1.0. Fill in each field with your project's decisions and supporting evidence.

- Project / source revision (name the project and the revision this brief covers):
- Player promise (one sentence describing what the player should enjoy):
- Main player activity (what the player repeatedly does):
- Audience and content boundaries (intended audience, included themes and content to exclude):
- Clearly adult character specification (record each character's age, appearance and role):
- First target device, runtime, input and minimum supported device (name each explicitly):
- Intended release channel and payment model:
- Channel eligibility evidence / unresolved questions / owner (link the evidence and assign someone to resolve each open question):

## Complete slice

- One location (name it and list the spaces or backgrounds needed):
- Cast (list each character and their role):
- Scenes and decisions (list each scene, its player choices and their consequences):
- Endings (name each ending and the choices that lead to it):
- State to remember (list the choices, values and unlocks the game must retain):
- Settings, save/load and restart behavior (describe what each does and what it preserves or resets):
- Asset counts including expressions, poses, outfits, corrections and translations:
- Art route and editable source format (describe how the art will be made and where it can be edited):
- Approved reference identifier:
- AI assistance, if any, and exact model/provider/version terms (record the assistance used and link the applicable terms):
- Required rights evidence (link the licenses, permissions or other evidence required for the project's materials):

## Milestones

| Milestone | Acceptance criteria | Owner | Evidence | Status |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Prototype | Main interaction and both endings can be completed using placeholders | | | |
| Vertical slice | Representative art, settings and save behavior are integrated | | | |
| Release candidate | Packaged build passes checks for each route, the target device and publishing requirements | | | |

## Production estimate

Record the actual time spent writing, preparing assets, making corrections, integrating and reviewing one completed scene. Use that scene to estimate the remaining work. Include contingency and support time. Count the work needed to produce accepted assets; generation time alone is not an asset-production estimate.

## Deferred ideas

List additional characters, locations, mechanics and variations here. Keep them out of the current scope until the slice is complete.
