# FLUX.1 \[dev\] and FLUX.1 Tools

Keeping an established FLUX.1 LoRA or structural-control workflow in use.

FLUX.1 \[dev\] is worth keeping when a project already depends on its adapters or its Fill, Depth, Canny and Redux tools. A migration that invalidates approved character adapters can undo useful work. Its B tier reflects that value for maintaining established pipelines and specialist control work. For a new cast, evaluate alternatives before committing. Treat FLUX.1 \[dev\], FLUX.2 and Schnell as distinct choices, and check weight use, fine-tuning, output rights and hosted-service terms separately. Permission to sell an image does not grant permission to run or fine-tune the model commercially, or make its weights permissively licensed.

## Commercial use & license

Open weights under the FLUX.1 \[dev\] Non-Commercial License. Commercial or production operation and commercial fine-tuning need separate licensing. Commercial use of outputs is permitted subject to the license's conditions; that permission does not extend to commercial model operation.

## Adult content rules

BFL prohibits unlawful content and realistic intimate depictions of real people without verified, documented and informed consent. Hosted services add their own filters and terms.

## What you need

A compatible GPU runtime, the required model components and enough storage; measure memory use in the chosen workflow.
