# Gemini 3.1 Flash Lite Image and 2.5 Flash Image

Low-cost hosted concept drafts or keeping an older integration running.

- **Availability**: available
- **Where it runs**: hosted
- **Costs**: Subscription, credits or metered API billing; check the plan for the selected model.
- **Adult content policy**: restricted

Flash Lite Image is worth considering for low-cost concept drafts when 1K output is enough. Google positions it around speed and cost, but says it is not optimized for multiple reference inputs or sequential edits. Gemini 2.5 Flash Image has a separate role: keeping an older integration running while a replacement is evaluated. These B-tier options have different reference limits, so compare the exact endpoints your workflow needs and check their output settings. For a recurring cast that needs consistent edits, evaluate the current Flash and Pro alternatives before committing. Keep any migration reversible. Google’s policy restricts sexually explicit content, including pornography and content made for sexual gratification, which limits their role in adult-game production.

## Commercial use & license

Google service/API terms apply. Check the selected model’s access and lifecycle status before use.

## Adult content rules

Google’s policy restricts sexually explicit content, including pornography and content intended for sexual gratification.

## What you need

Account/API access, rights to use submitted references, and a checked export workflow.

Ranks are recommendations for the task described, based on reviewed documentation. Model ranks cover non-explicit development work. We have not run practical benchmarks. Check content policies and commercial terms separately. [How the ranks work](https://bestadultgames.io/en/developers/methodology.md)

## Why consider it

- Lite is designed for inexpensive drafts.
- A separate 2.5 model ID supports existing integrations.
- Hosted generation and editing through a managed API.

## Tradeoffs to plan for

- Lite is not optimized for multiple references or sequential edits.
- Different reference limits; check each model’s resolution settings.
- Google restricts sexually explicit content.

The tier reflects documented fit for the workflow described here and availability. No numeric score or hands-on performance results are provided.
