Grok Imagine Video 1.5 is worth considering for game teasers whose key moments are already storyboarded. You can pin supplied images at chosen points in a shot to plan a character’s pose or a camera’s destination, then review the generated motion between those anchors. Native 1080p is available for text- and image-to-video; reference-guided shots stop at 720p. Keep dialogue and final sound editable when timing matters, and assess an exported sample before committing to a character-heavy batch. Editing and extension use the separate grok-imagine-video model, so include that switch when planning a workflow.

## What you need

Use an xAI API key with access to grok-imagine-video-1.5 at /v1/videos/generations. Keyframes are limited to four and must fall strictly inside the clip in distinct one-third-second slots. Check how frame, reference-image and preset-voice inputs combine.
