Illustrious XL v2.0-STABLE is a useful candidate for local anime game art when its style and compatible LoRAs fit the project. OnomaAIResearch describes this checkpoint as a more stable revision of v2, with subtle changes in behavior. Record the exact checkpoint and adapter base, then test full-body poses alongside portraits. A convincing face is only part of a usable character asset. Derivatives can change behavior, licensing and provenance, and generating a recognizable franchise character does not clear commercial rights to that identity.
