# LTX 2.5

Non-explicit audiovisual drafts with a path to detail refinement

LTX 2.5 is worth considering for non-explicit audiovisual drafts when you want a local workflow with a clear route from quick iterations to detail refinement. The distilled pipeline is the fast starting point; DFR adds generated keyframes and a spatial detailing pass, at the cost of more runtime and VRAM. Setup needs release-matched encoders, VAEs and adapters, so an older LTX workflow can require rebuilding. For an adult-game studio, the hard limit is content policy: Lightricks prohibits sexually explicit generation locally as well as in the cloud. Use it for suitable non-explicit work within the commercial license terms.

## Commercial use & license

LTX 2.x Community License requires a paid license for entities with annual revenue of US$10 million or more, except its defined non-commercial uses, and a separate license for specified competing uses. Attribution, AI disclosure and AUP restrictions apply. The AUP separately bars using products or outputs to develop competing services; clarify that restriction with Lightricks before relying on a paid license.

## Adult content rules

Lightricks prohibits sexually explicit generation across its cloud and on-premises products.

## What you need

For the documented audiovisual distilled and DFR workflows, use the LTX 2.5 distilled transformer, its LTX-tuned Gemma 4 12B encoder, matching audio/video VAEs and spatial upscaler. DFR also needs the detailing IC-LoRA; do not use the full development transformer for that route.
