# Pony V7 Base

Pony V7 Base is worth considering for local character art if you're ready to adopt an AuraFlow workflow. The move from Pony V6’s SDXL base means existing adapters and settings should not be assumed compatible. The author describes support for spatial prompts and character interactions, alongside poor text rendering and small faces that can degrade with the art style. Natural-language prompts, tags and a recommended SimpleTuner training route give you concrete starting points. For an adult-game cast, test original characters across poses and costumes before committing to a style. Commercial use needs clearance under the custom Pony License, and permission for explicit adult output remains unresolved.

Custom Pony License. The card limits commercial use for inference services/apps, companies above 1M revenue and professional video production, with exceptions through first-party commercial APIs. ## What you need

An AuraFlow-compatible runtime such as Diffusers or the supplied ComfyUI workflows. GGUF workflows require City96 nodes; the author estimates about 10GB VRAM for Q8_0. Budget storage for the chosen weights and components, then measure memory on the complete workflow.
