# Wan 2.7 hosted family

Keeping an approved API workflow while evaluating Wan 3.0

- **Availability**: available
- **Where it runs**: hosted
- **Costs**: Alibaba Model Studio meters Wan 2.7 video requests by seconds, with rates varying by route, resolution and region. Reference and editing can also bill input video; confirm the selected route’s billing rules before budgeting.
- **Adult content policy**: restricted

Wan 2.7 is a sensible option for a team with an approved look and a working video pipeline. Dated text, image and reference routes let you retain a specific version while comparing a move to Wan 3.0. The image route supports first/last frames and continuation; separate routes let you use references or edit existing footage. Check each route’s limits before building a sequence around it. Access remains hosted: a ComfyUI API wrapper still needs the remote service, and downloadable Wan 2.7 weights have not been verified.

## Commercial use & license

Proprietary hosted service governed by Alibaba Cloud’s terms; other providers may impose additional terms. No downloadable Wan 2.7 weight license is established.

## Adult content rules

Alibaba Cloud’s terms prohibit pornography, sex-related merchandising and content promoting sexually explicit material. Those rules apply to Model Studio inputs and outputs. Permission for other adult-themed assets remains unverified; confirm the intended use with the service before production.

## What you need

An Alibaba Model Studio API key and matching regional endpoint. Choose wan2.7-t2v, image, reference or edit routes and any dated snapshot; first/last-frame and continuation controls belong to image-to-video. Text/image generation permits 2–15-second clips; reference/edit routes permit 2–10 seconds, at 720P or 1080P.

Ranks are recommendations for the task described, based on reviewed documentation. Model ranks cover non-explicit development work. We have not run practical benchmarks. Check content policies and commercial terms separately. [How the ranks work](https://bestadultgames.io/en/developers/methodology.md)

## Why consider it

- Dated routes help keep version comparisons consistent
- First/last-frame and continuation controls for image animation
- Text instructions for editing existing footage

## Tradeoffs to plan for

- Wan 3.0 offers longer clips
- Reference and edit clips are limited to 10 seconds
- Hosted access required; no downloadable weights verified

The tier reflects documented fit for the workflow described here and availability. No numeric score or hands-on performance results are provided.
