Estelle's illness does not put her desire on hold. Separated from Abbi, she can still tease, ask for attention and enjoy being wanted. Foot fetishism sits uneasily beside the horror of a body slipping out of her control; that friction gives the dirty talk its weight.
A fixed ending makes every line responsible for keeping you close to the couple. Their typos and jokes often manage it. When the sexting repeats itself, there is too little elsewhere in their lives to carry the story. slime feet is most persuasive when desire and dread inhabit the same conversation.
Two women, one private language

Estelle Mcclendon and Abbi work at the Amoninsula Research Facility, where dangerous anomalies are studied. Contact with Miasma leaves Estelle quarantined and facing a terminal decline. Their chats become the place where they can stay close, while observation logs chart what is happening to her. The setting makes their separation unavoidable, even if the facility never develops much life of its own.
Estelle's teasing and increasingly untidy typing rub against Abbi's careful phrasing. Excitement and worry gradually undo that composure. Typos, inside jokes and embarrassing enthusiasm do much of the character work: the two women sound as though they have learned exactly how to fluster each other. A polished love speech would lose something here.
Their intimacy makes room for affection, demands and ridiculous banter. The limitation is how little exists beyond it. Their histories, other workplace relationships and lives outside the chat remain thin. The dialogue gives the couple a convincing rhythm, but anyone hoping to know them beyond their kink and impending loss will want more.
Desire without touch

Explicit cybersex occupies much of the story. Foot fetishism, transformation, domination, humiliation and reclaimed sexual slurs shape the couple's desire. The language can be abrasive, and the game stays close to this particular kink dynamic. Its erotic appeal depends on the texture of their dirty talk; readers who find it grating have a great deal of it to get through.
Sex unfolds in written exchanges, with sparse imagery supplying atmosphere around them. Your input advances the conversation rather than directing the couple. The appeal is hearing these particular women tease and want each other, so there is little visual spectacle to fall back on when the dialogue loses its grip.
Estelle can still imagine, provoke and be desired as her body deteriorates. That gives the sex a purpose beyond arousal: she retains a say in how Abbi sees her. Yet repeated sexting sometimes stalls the story. Another variation on the same dynamic offers diminishing returns when the illness and the relationship need room to develop.
Waiting for the next message

The game announces its terminal outcome at the outset. Suspense comes from deteriorating language, pauses and the effort to keep familiar banter going. Ordinary exchanges of care become fragile because the next message is no longer a certainty. The fixed ending works best through those small changes in contact.
The observation logs give Estelle's decline a clinical counterpoint, but the anomaly and its institution remain underdeveloped. The sexual dialogue is far more specific than the medical voice. That imbalance leaves an intriguing horror premise with too little substance, and the logs cannot supply all the context the chats leave out.
Kinky joking is a plausible response to dread, yet the volume of sex can keep that dread offstage for too long. The finish lands when the couple's private language has won you over; otherwise, the tragedy has little else to draw on. Terminal illness, disability and a drawn-out death are central to the experience, whatever initially attracts you to its fetish premise.
An evocative screen, an awkward read

Filtered photographs and dark collage textures make the interface feel like a place the relationship inhabits. The observation logs are its practical weak point. A September 2026 report describes the hazard-log effects as difficult to read and says no font adjustment was available. The clinical material needs to be legible if it is going to deepen the horror.
The chat layout and somber music give flirtation an uneasy setting. Sparse visual changes leave room to imagine the exchanges, though vague backdrops and limited staging also reduce their impact. The presentation has a recognizable mood; it offers much less in character animation or elaborate sexual imagery.
The launch patch changed startup from fullscreen to a maximized window, while the listed requirements still recommend a display of 1920×1080 or greater. That adjustment addresses the window, not the reported log typography. A small game can still ask a lot of your eyes.
One ending, no price barrier

There are no branches or alternative endings. A second reading can reveal how jokes, typing and pauses change as the couple runs out of time. Familiar exchanges of affection acquire a different weight once you know where they lead. That gives a story you loved a reason to be revisited, without adding new encounters or routes.
At the October 2026 check, the Steam base game was free, included its explicit textual content and listed no paid DLC or required adult-restoration patch. It lists English on Windows, macOS and Linux. This is the March 2025 upgrade of an earlier itch game; the developer also released the upgrade on itch. The story is complete.
September 2026 accounts report no save/load system and lost progress after closing the game. Skipping helps you reach your place again, but it is an awkward substitute for keeping it. Plan a reading session around that reported limitation: the story asks for attention, and returning to it should be easier than this.
Verdict
Read slime feet for the sharp, messy intimacy of its chat dialogue. Estelle and Abbi remain horny, teasing and affectionate as their time runs out, making desire an affecting part of the tragedy. The thin horror setting and repetitive sexting hold it back, and the reported save and typography problems add needless friction. Still, its particular queer relationship is memorable enough to justify those irritations. The free Steam release offers a complete story with little visual spectacle or player agency; its strongest appeal is the uneasy closeness of wanting someone you cannot reach.
What works
- +Distinctive sexual chemistry in the couple’s teasing, typos and private jokes
- +A complete story with explicit cybersex in the free Steam base
- +Chat pacing and filtered imagery make separation feel immediate
Drawbacks
- −Repeated sexting crowds out the horror setting and the couple’s wider lives
- −Reported save limitations and hard-to-read logs disrupt the reading
Questions before you play
Is it free, and do I need a patch for the sex scenes?
At the October 2026 check, the Steam base game was free and included explicit cybersex in the text. No paid DLC or required adult-restoration patch was listed.
Can I change the ending or save Estelle?
No. slime feet is a linear visual novel with no choices and a fixed outcome. Advancing the conversation reveals what happens; it cannot open a rescue route.
Are the sex scenes animated or interactive?
Erotic scenes unfold through written chat, surrounded by sparse filtered imagery. Your input advances the text; it does not direct the couple or change the outcome.
What themes should I know about before reading?
Lesbian cybersex and foot fetishism sit alongside transformation, domination, humiliation and sexual slurs. Terminal illness, disability, body horror and a drawn-out death are central to the story. Expect grief as well as kink.
Can I stop midway and save my place?
September 2026 Steam accounts report no save/load system and restarting from the beginning after closing. A skip function helps you return to your place, but those reports give you reason to plan around an interrupted reading session.
Which platforms and language does the rated edition list?
Steam lists Windows, macOS and Linux, with English. Its requirements recommend a display of 1920×1080 or greater. The earlier browser release and behavior on particular devices are outside this Steam assessment.
