This review is a research-based synthesis of 13 published sources, last checked 5 October 2026. We have not played the game ourselves; the scores express our editorial judgment. How we score games

Hiroki works long hours, earns little and photographs people whose lives look better than his. Then three of those unattainable women start competing for his company. Sakura Succubus knows the appeal of putting the man behind the camera at the centre of celebrity attention. His scent explains their supernatural attraction, saving him the trouble of becoming especially charming. Expensive surroundings, enormous boobs and instant desire complete the fantasy of being wanted without having to work for it.

That shortcut also removes much of the anticipation. Attraction arrives almost fully formed, so there is little pleasure in watching trust develop or flirting become something more. The women's public images occasionally slip in amusing ways, but Hiroki keeps returning to the same disbelief. Their fascination with him rarely feels personal enough to make the relationships as appealing as the premise.

Marina gives the fantasy some chemistry

Marina, a thirty-one-year-old clothing-company owner, supplies the most convincing seduction. She takes charge, reassures Hiroki and lets the ordinary photographer enjoy being looked after by someone powerful. Her dominance comes with warmth, which gives the attraction a reason beyond his irresistible scent. Entering her world does more for the erotic mood than another reminder that Hiroki cannot believe his luck.

Ayu's sweet idol persona conceals greed and a sharp temper. The gap is funny when the sweetness curdles, less enticing when hostility crowds out flirtation. Cosmos adds affectionate enthusiasm and irreverent exchanges with Ayu, giving the group a softer presence. Repeated jokes about her intelligence wear that charm down. The women offer distinct kinds of attention, but the episode develops their personalities much further than their relationships.

The patch supplies the sex

The Steam release leaves sex offscreen. Winged Cloud's separate official 18+ PC patch adds nudity, sex scenes and changes to character outfits. Check that the official patch is available before buying the Steam edition for sex scenes. Nutaku sells a separate uncensored edition that requires no patch. The patched first game reaches sex during its short story, with no training, gift purchases or stat requirements to get in the way. You do not need a sequel for that payoff.

Sex scenes use static CGs and variations, with text connecting one image to the next. There is no voice acting or animated sex. The drawings carry the appeal: these are the same women who have been flirting with Hiroki, now shown in adult scenes. Expression changes add some intensity, but there is little movement or sound to sustain it. Abrupt shifts from conversation to sex leave little time for desire to build, so an attractive CG has to supply most of the excitement.

Picking a favourite changes little

Reading carries you through most events. Choices let Hiroki react differently and favour Ayu or Cosmos, leading to closing variations and different CG unlocks. They never open into three substantial, separate courtships. The wider harem keeps heading in the same direction, and picking a favourite gives you little say over who stays involved. Seeing the fantasy unfold is easy; feeling responsible for these relationships is harder.

Alternate choices fill out the gallery without demanding another long campaign, and there is little grind to obstruct access. The cost is repetition: familiar dialogue and images return for small differences, while the relationships barely change. A short, linear novel can still make intimacy compelling. Here, instant attraction and rushed development leave the pictures doing too much of the work.

Pretty art, unfinished romance

Colourful character art and provocative compositions give the celebrity fantasy its polish. Exaggerated proportions make the intention obvious, although some poses look awkward rather than seductive. The small set of backgrounds and sprites becomes familiar quickly. Music adds atmosphere, but without character voices, every joke and flirtatious exchange depends on the prose. There is charm in the presentation, just little that makes an encounter feel special beyond the next attractive illustration.

The abrupt ending leaves the larger relationship story unresolved. Sequels are separate purchases, and the sizeable series bundle does not expand this original episode. At its October 2026 US list price of $9.99, the first game's thin development and limited replay are difficult to defend. A discount better suits its short burst of fantasy. The adult patch delivers the sex it promises, but the romance still stops at an introductory chapter.

Verdict

Sakura Succubus is an attractive but slight introduction to its harem. Marina's confident warmth gives the seduction its strongest personality, and the adult patch delivers nudity and sex without a long grind. That earns the first episode some appeal on its own. Thin intimacy, static and silent sex scenes, and choices with little influence on the relationships keep it modest. The cliffhanger then asks for another purchase just as those relationships need room to develop. At a cheap sale price, the art and Marina may be enough. Full price asks too much for a romance still waiting to get going.

What works

  • +Marina's confidence and warmth give the seduction its strongest chemistry
  • +The official adult patch adds sex and nudity without a long grind

Drawbacks

  • −Instant attraction and slight choices leave the relationships underdeveloped
  • −Static, unvoiced sex scenes and an abrupt cliffhanger weaken standalone value
