OpenAI recommends GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst for edits that need precision. This hosted model generates and edits images through the Image API, with conversational revisions available through the Responses API. Give it a clear correction brief and a reference image you have permission to use. Its S tier covers permitted artwork revisions; character details, typography and composition still need human review. Record the quality, dimensions and API route, which affect cost and behavior. The service is proprietary, and moderation applies to both references and outputs.
