HunyuanImage 3.0 suits teams with serious GPU capacity and a clear plan for where their assets will be used. The base release generates images from text; Instruct adds reasoning and image editing, and Instruct-Distil uses fewer sampling steps. Distil still carries the family's large model footprint. Hardware demands and licensing restrictions keep this a B-tier specialist. The published Tencent license excludes the EU, UK and South Korea and restricts output use there, so a worldwide game release needs additional permission even if generation happens elsewhere. Review the custom inference code and its dependencies before loading it.

Tencent Hunyuan Community License with territory, use, attribution and scale conditions. It does not grant unrestricted worldwide use or distribution of outputs.
Adult content rules
Permission to generate explicit sexual content is unconfirmed. Running locally does not override Tencent's acceptable-use terms or a hosting provider's rules.
What you need
Official inference code and a compatible CUDA setup. Tencent recommends at least 3 × 80 GB GPUs for base or 8 × 80 GB for Instruct/Distil. Confirm the selected branch's license and intended territory.
