Niji 7 is a useful starting point for anime art direction: character concepts, outfits and backgrounds that meet Midjourney’s content rules. Developed with Spellbrush, it has its own prompting behavior and feature support. Its A-tier recommendation applies to visual exploration before an artist finishes the production assets. Before using a concept for sprites, compare facial structure, costume details and linework across the intended cast, poses and expressions. Keep the finished assets in editable source files. Midjourney prohibits nudity and sexualized imagery, so explicit scenes are outside this workflow. Check Niji 7’s reference features separately from the main Midjourney models.
