Vidu Q2 family

Vidu Q2 is worth keeping in a reference workflow that already meets your character and shot requirements. Reference images, selectable clip length and resolution, and an explicit seed give you practical controls for short clips. Save those inputs with each job, then compare Q3 on the same shot before rebuilding the pipeline. Changing the model, references and settings together makes it hard to tell what improved or broke. Q2's documented generation window ends at ten seconds, which limits longer scenes. Confirm access to the exact endpoint before committing a batch. Use it for non-explicit work: Vidu moderates nudity and explicit sex in both inputs and outputs.

Commercial use & license

Proprietary hosted model. Vidu's service terms and any applicable plan terms govern access and use. No downloadable weight license is established.

What you need

Use a Vidu API token and the Q2 variant supported by your endpoint. Text-to-video takes viduq2 and supports one to ten seconds; image and reference routes have their own variant and input rules. Confirm account access before planning a batch.
