Vidu Q3 is worth considering for non-explicit character teasers and short dialogue scenes built around approved references. Reference inputs, synchronized audio and shot switching are its useful production tools, though their availability depends on the endpoint. Pro, Mix, Drama, Ad and Turbo serve different roles, with different input and duration limits. Start with a fixed scene plan and compare a few clips before committing a trailer budget. Review facial continuity and audio separately, and clearly identify generated promotional footage so players can tell what the game actually does.
Commercial use & license
Proprietary hosted model. Vidu’s service terms and any applicable plan terms govern access and commercial use; no downloadable weight license is established.
Adult content rules
Vidu screens image and text inputs and generated videos for nudity and sexually explicit content. Moderation cannot be disabled for an account, project or topic.
What you need
API use requires Vidu account access and an authentication token. Choose the exact Q3 variant and endpoint before preparing inputs: text-to-video and reference-to-video have different duration and input limits, and variants do not accept identical fields.
Ranks are recommendations for the task described, based on reviewed documentation. Model ranks cover non-explicit development work. We have not run practical benchmarks. Check content policies and commercial terms separately. How the ranks work →
