Stable Diffusion 3.5 offers downloadable Large, Large Turbo and Medium models for teams that want local control over general game art. Its A tier applies to permitted backgrounds and ordinary character art. Moving from SDXL takes a compatible workflow: encoders, adapters and inference settings must match the selected model, and SDXL LoRAs are not compatible by default. Commercial eligibility depends on annual revenue across the organization, with registration and separate enterprise terms where required. Stability’s acceptable-use policy prohibits content relating to sexual acts and explicitly covers self-hosted models and third-party hosting. That rules out recommending this family for generating explicit sex scenes.
Commercial use & license
The Stability Community License covers listed Core Models. Commercial eligibility depends on annual organization revenue; registration and enterprise terms may be required. Check the applicable agreement and acceptable-use policy.
Adult content rules
Stability’s policy prohibits content relating to sexual acts and explicitly covers self-hosted models and third-party hosting.
What you need
A compatible GPU runtime, the selected model’s components and sufficient storage. Measure memory use with the workflow you intend to run.
Ranks are recommendations for the task described, based on reviewed documentation. Model ranks cover non-explicit development work. We have not run practical benchmarks. Check content policies and commercial terms separately. How the ranks work →
