SkyReels V3 gives a local video pipeline three useful routes: scenes from image references, extensions of existing clips, and talking portraits driven by audio. Its appeal for game production is the ability to start with art or footage you have already chosen: build a short scene around character references, explore a continuation, or animate a portrait from recorded dialogue. Each route needs its own weights and inputs. Check faces, motion and the junction between clips before accepting an extension. The Skywork community terms also need attention before commercial or service deployment; local access does not settle adult-use permissions.

Commercial use & license

The V3 repository says commercial use is supported under Skywork Community License conditions, but the linked agreement defines Skywork-13B. Confirm its application to V3 with the licensor. Review redistribution and derivative-attribution duties; the repository also requests security reviews and records before internet-service deployment.

Adult content rules

The linked terms prohibit unlawful use and violations of third-party rights. They do not expressly authorize adult-content generation; input rights and internet-service review/record requirements still apply.

What you need

Use R2V-14B for references, V2V-14B for extension or A2V-19B for talking avatars. The documented setup recommends Python 3.12+ and CUDA 12.8+. Reference generation accepts 1–4 images and recommends 5 seconds at 720p/24 fps; single-shot extension accepts 5–30 seconds, shot switching up to 5 seconds, and avatars use one portrait plus one audio track of up to 200 seconds.

Ranks are recommendations for the task described, based on reviewed documentation. Model ranks cover non-explicit development work. We have not run practical benchmarks. Check content policies and commercial terms separately. How the ranks work →
