SkyReels V2 gives local video-extension experiments a useful set of controls: its diffusion-forcing workflow can continue an existing clip and accept start and end frames. Those controls do not guarantee a coherent long take. Check each continuation for character drift, broken motion and visible joins, and decide where the shot should stop before the render becomes an editing project of its own. The released checkpoints cover different tasks and resolutions, so choose the exact variant your pipeline needs. If V2 already works for you, compare the newer V3 separately before rebuilding the workflow.
Commercial use & license
The weights link to the custom Skywork Community License, which permits commercial use subject to restrictions. Confirm the terms for your checkpoint: the linked agreement names Skywork-13B. Do not assume Apache-2.0 licensing.
Adult content rules
The linked terms prohibit unlawful use and require respect for third-party rights. They do not explicitly authorize adult content; check the applicable checkpoint terms, local law and input rights before use.
What you need
Use a released 1.3B diffusion-forcing or image-to-video checkpoint at 540p, or a 14B diffusion-forcing, text-to-video or image-to-video checkpoint at 540p or 720p, with the project’s GPU inference setup. For diffusion forcing at 540p, the project reports about 14.7GB peak VRAM for 1.3B and 51.2GB for 14B; usage depends on settings.
Ranks are recommendations for the task described, based on reviewed documentation. Model ranks cover non-explicit development work. We have not run practical benchmarks. Check content policies and commercial terms separately. How the ranks work →
